The Brother HL 5340D printer is a wonderful, compact machine. It is an extremely fast desktop laser printer that can churn out an incredible 32 pages per minute. Believe me, this printer gets a workout.

This Brother printer is like a tank. My wife uses it to print out letters she writes, even though I try to get her to use email. My kids use it for all sorts of things. Music, movie times, maps, sports stories. I usually can only get use of the printer when they are at school or at the mall. Fortunately for me, this this printer is all business when I need it to be.

The print quality is amazing. My business letters are always crisp and clear. There are never any smudges. Pages print amazingly fast and I’ve run whole reports for work in the time it took my old printer to get itself warmed up! When I moved from a cubicle to my home office I never imagined I would be able to bring home such a high quality printer for such a low price. If I’d known, I would have quit my job and started my own business months earlier.

One of the coolest things about this printer was how easy it was for me to set it up. I brought it home, opened the box and expected a lot of confusing instructions. I was so wrong. It was easy. The directions were simple and the set up was a breeze. I didn’t even need the help of my kids!

I just plugged it into the wall. Then I plugged it into the computer. In no time I was back to work and printing pages like nobody’s business.  Being busy and not just a little technology challenged, I appreciated the easy set up.
