Have you encountered the dreaded three red lights? If so, then you will be interested in the 3 red lights fix . In order to fix your xbox 360, you should consider performing xbox 360 troubleshooting to determine what the problem is. As you will see, xbox 360 repair can be done personally and in the convenience of your own home.
When taking the first step in repairing xbox 360, make sure that your system is clean, with proper air flow. One of the main reasons a system will malfunction is that it’s overheating. To improve the airflow to your system, try blowing compressed air into the slots on the back and sides of your system. Try to do this outside, as there may be a lot of dust in your system, and you don’t want all that dust in your house.
When you have finished this step, make sure your game system is located in a place that allows substantial air flow. A bad locale for your xbox 360 would be inside of a multimedia unit that prevents access to air flow.
If this fails to work, and you feel adventurous, you can choose to disassemble your xbox 360 and inspect it further for damage. By doing this form of xbox 360 repairing, however, you will void your warranty. As a result, this is only a good idea for systems that are already out of warranty.
First, remove the faceplate. Next, remove the bottom gray vent plate. You will see six tabs holding it in place, so release them. Slowly while releasing the tabs, pull up on the plate. Now, remove the top plate. The top plate has three tabs holding the plate, otherwise it is similar to the bottom plate. After removing the top plate, the last step is to remove the plate located opposite the top plate.
After removal of the plates, the console may be opened. You will hear a series of clicks as the case is removed. This is normal, and is the sound of the tabs securing the case to the system being released. Removal of the lid will reveal the chassis. Simply remove the six screws and you have completed disassembly of the Xbox 360.
