Television Shows On DVD replaces the gymnasium and the playground. People say they don’t have enough time to play with their children or work out at the health club. But, just ask them what kind of animated television series they watch and you can engage them in a lengthy conversation.

I am not an expert on Television Shows On DVD but I am a user. I truly enjoy HDTV televisions and I have the love handles to prove that I do not participate in enough physical activities.

Lately, I’ve been getting all sorts of DVD sets of old television shows and watching them straight through, one right after the other. The thing I’ve noticed is that I no longer have a tolerance for regular television. I don’t like not being able to skip the sign on credits and get straight to the show. My patience for sitting through television commercials has completely disappeared. I’ve reached the point where I will not watch a show on television if I suspect it may have an end of season cliff hanger. I’d rather wait for it to come out on DVD so I can watch all the episodes sequentially without interruption.

But I don’t spend the extra time saved doing any exercise. I’ve even now trained my oldest child to mow the lawn so I can spend the weekend just watching my animated television series and then go back to work Monday without even having anything interesting to share.

I must break this habit before I am unable to do anything but sit in front of television.
